This 'resort' has been sliding downhill for the past few years. Finally, we used to like a small cup of gelato at night from the coffee shop. Other issues: dirty machines on the casino floor, poor ventilation, limited coffee service (they used to have coffee carts). You are left with the expensive Willows steakhouse, and grab-and-go coffee shop and Chinese or tacos in the food court. Half of the food court (the burger and pizza places) are closed until 6:30pm. The cafe, buffet, and pool bar have been closed since the pandemic and have not reopened. The food options are incredibly limited, compared to what they used to offer. Although there is a no pets sign at checkin, there was a dog yelping for about 30 minutes the morning we checked out. Issues on our last visit included: stains on the sheers/curtains, a water closet barn door that would only open/close halfway, and a shower head clogged with lime scale.

By my calculation, the rooms in the tower are about 6 years old. Unfortunately, the quality has been trending downward since the pandemic. At one time, it was one of the best options in the Santa Ynez area. My wife and I have been staying here for years. The Casino is very easy to get to, located just a few miles off the 101 freeway near Solvang. The hotel is a little pricey on the weekend but not too bad during the week. It is however not a place for children! 21 and over only. I would recommend Chumash to anyone who likes gambling and staying at a nice resort. They have top rated entertainment With a nice venue for concerts and sporting events. The Food Court and restaurants have a good selection of food for any taste.

I have not seen this many at any casino anywhere! (Thank You!) There are ticket redemption machines located everywhere throughout the casino to make cashing out very easy. The casino is top rate with a variety of gaming to suit most any player. The Hotel is very nice with a beautiful pool on the 5th floor overlooking Oak covered rolling hills and Grape Vineyard's. I was pleasantly surprised as I am a frequent visitor of Las Vegas. This the best Indian Casino I have visited in Southern California.
